Can You Smell It?

My darling husband got me a KitchenAid quite some time ago. Well, I have become quite dependant on my "just throw it all in and wait" bread machine and a little afraid of the KitchenAid method, which involves a smidgen more of my involvement, in making bread. So, this is my first attempt at French bread using the KitchenAid and I likes. I likes it alot. ;) I made a cool rise loaf as well. I am in love....ahhhhh... Yes, the one looks a bit deformed, but hey, it tasted wonderful :)
In case your wondering, I'm home with an ever so slightly sick little Ayden :( Sick enough to not want him in church nursery with the stomach bug he has...so I'm here- posting away...hope you all are having a wonderful weekend.

Oooh yummy! Looks scrumptious! I love my Kitchen Aid and the feel of actually kneading my dough, but have found that since Troy was born the time it takes intimidates me and so I rarely make bread anymore. Ugh.

I'm home with a sicky toddler too, this morning... fun times. ;)

I love this photo! Two reasons... I am a fan of homemade bread (I too have a dreamy Kitchen Aid-mine is used for Gingerbread House ICING) and the BLUE and WHITE collection.
Ask Pam..I have lots of BLUE and WHITE. I started collecting years ago from teeny tiny to a lovely Tea Set given to me by my (28 yr.old) SON! Yes..he picked it out himself!
It is so nice to read about the many young mothers adventuring into the realms of REAL homemaking. This is what Proverbs 31 is all about! You don't realize how inspirational even a little thing like this is to others. I know from when I was a young wife ...learning this very same thing from a dear Christian sister. We learn a lot from eachother!
