Day to Day...Fun

What ON EARTH??? Yes, I retrieved this real life mystery meat concoction from Ayden and Lily..."makin' butter!" Ayden revealed. Lily had apparently mixed butter with bologna(?) while I was *ahem* typing the ultra serious post below *what-can-you-do-shrug* to make this super (blllech) duper treat this morning. Bon Appetit!
I wish I had a picture from last week of the *entire* box of Kix that Ayden was able to dump in the .23 seconds that I left his side to put away a step-stool which more often than not is his trusty side kick in all his mischievous attempts and successes. Yes,he was able to grab the bottom of the newly opened box and as he pulled it, it toppled alllll over the floor. He was just delighted and did a little "smashy the Kix" dance as I scrambled for my new vac (which I hate *sob* but the other one gave up a couple of weeks after Ayden cleaned out the toilet with it). It was quite the mess. But I can laugh now!

Is it wrong that I'm laughing??
Our family had a good laugh around the dinner table the other night about all of Ayden's little escapades. It made my little *M* look a lot more mellow! Believe me, I was praising your patience and mercy with him!!

I'm sorry your vacuum gave out on you :(

It's okay...it is funny. He really does a good job obeying when he's told to do something or stop doing something or to "come here", or sit for a story...etc...it's the *adventures* in every mess you can think of that's just exhausting! I think *M* was more into being an escape artist than mischief making :)

Oh Heather that is too funny and it made my morning. I LOVE to hear what Ayden does, because then I know my 2 little stinker boys are not alone in the pursuit of what can I do next or is this possible. I love them and they are good boys but I feel for you hun I had the same cereal thing happen to me last week but on the carpet doing the smashy dance.
Then there was one time I was cleaning alex's booster chair at the table and I noticed something weird. Well he likes to get the back off and drop it on the floor so I usually leave it until he is done and then put it back on or Ian helps put it back on. Well in the process of cleaning I looked in this little slot for the top of the leg and I noticed the booster leg was stuffed with something, neve noticed before.
I had to take the whole thing apart to find he filled the leg with turkey bacon and anything else he could fit in the hole. It was so gross and I wondered how did he do it I never saw him do it.
I asked him did you do that and he looked at me with a smile on his face shoke his head yes and said Yup. I asked him why he did it and he rambled something off not sure what it was because when he goes to fast it all gets jumbled up but I heard Ian in there somewhere. So I told him not to do that again and he said yesum ( yes maam ) and skipped away.
I tell you 2 boys are definately fun.

I think someone is going to be a chef!!! Why do kids get a kick out of dumping large boxes of cereal on the floor and then dancing on it?

Heather, that boy sure can do some damage quick. Isn't absolutely amazing how quickly they can move. I am still in shock sometimes. Mine are a littl beyond that, not much, some days are crazy around here. Now the messes are just bigger and better.

Even though I have never met your children, they CRACK me up! Honey, you have got your hands slap full-a-mess! LOL And the thought of Ayden using your old vac to clean out the toilet was the icing on the cake for this story. I'm sorry...but this post made me laugh. After all, your blog is "Just Laugh," right?

As the boy grows so do the messes! Wait till he is old enough to collect worms in his pockets and not tell you about them ~ that is, until he hears you scream when you open the washing machine and find them floating with the suds! Or using said vacuum cleaner's motor to power his 'go cart' for his army men. Or rubber banding the sprayer on the sink so that when his sister goes to get a drink it soaks her and the kitchen along with her! Ahh the joys of having a boy. :o)
