Yes I Did

...fall off the edge of the earth. Sorry about that my dear friends. It's a flaw in my personality that I can't seem to shake-when I am stressed in a good or bad way...I pare down to the necessities.

Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers and emails...they mean so much. I do want to clarify that my husband is deployed to Kore@ not Ir@q and that he will only be there a few more weeks. Unfortunately, until he gets back, I just don't have any time that I can reasonably spend on the computer :( Between homeschooling, the kids and my responsibilities at church...my time and energy is the better part of spent by the end of the day. It's a good thing :) It seems if I get distracted even for a moment, disaster strikes. For example, Lily and Ayden decided to dump out all, save a cup, of my bread flour....alllll over my living room and couch while I, worked out some Mother/Daughter luncheon details on the phone. *ahem* what fun that was to clean up. I know you understand....and I do miss you all terribly and wonder how you all are doing daily...I will have lots to catch up on when I get back :) Love you all! Please keep me in your prayers! You are in mine.~Heather

There's nothing wrong with sticking to the bare necessities. Sometimes that's all we can do to survive. :) Hope you're hanging in there, disasters and all!

I've missed you! So glad to read something--anything--from you. You come back when you *can*...and not a moment before. Those kiddos and your church family come first. :)

Great to hear from you. I sure can understand survival mode when the man's away!

Your children have more fun decorating your home with all manner of things. I realize it is work for you, but I must admit the visual you give with words makes me laugh.

I'm glad you found a free minute to let everyone know how you're doing.
I'm so glad that you don't find blogging one of the "necessities" in life! Keep God and your family first and we'll see you when things start to settle down.
I'll continue to pray for you; as always.
BTW--- Happy Belated Birthday to Brian and Ayden!!

I am glad you are doing well! I know how you feel about the kids! Hannah decided to flush toliet paper rolls down the toliet(after she went potty) the other day while I was on the phone with my hubby. I think I would rather have the flour mess;) Soon your hubby will be home quick to help you clean up any mess!

I totally understand. I figured you were in survival mode. HEy, that happens to be how I live most of the time. Do what absolutely has to be done, not much time for anything else.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

((Hugs)) So good to hear from you!

Am I the only one who thinks the flour thing is funny? Maybe because I just had a similar experience with an entire can of coffee.

Take care my friend.

A blessing to know Heather..that FAMILY and the needs of your church come first. I know the LORD will bless you for this AND your patience with the children! :)

You will have a "story" or ten I'm sure... to keep for funnies later in life!

Glad you are doing okay...still praying for you and your DH safe return home.

HOPE....

Oh Miss Heather, I so look forward to being a happy little mama -- flour all over the living room and all! Your posts always make me smile, or if they're on more serious matters, they always give me food for thought. By the way, just so's to make sure you noticed, the M girls left you comments on my account on your post about Mr. Brian's deployment.

Heather, one of your blogging buddies had an awesome blogging entry some time back about why she chooses to homeschool. Any idea who that was or where I can find that blog entry? :( I cannot find it anywhere.

Hi there!

I'm a new reader, but will be coming back! :)

I will keep you in my prayers. I don't know the kind of chaos you are experiencing exactly, but hey, I know chaos. :)

Hi, my name is Becky, I came across your blog in a search for military Christian wives. My husband is currently deployed, in all different locations, but actually now, he's in your area. This is our first (and hopefully, last) deployment together (he's a Marine who was recalled), and it's been tough. Do you have any recommendations for communication? I feel pretty alone in all this as I don't live on base (we live across the country from the base he was stationed at). I would really love to somehow talk with you...I hope that's not weird. Thanks for sharing your blog.

Bless your heart. You have a lot on your plate don't you. I pray your hubby is doing okay and that he makes it home safely. Take care and don't stress too much about keeping up with the blog. There are other things that must come first.
