Blogging From Israel

Ok, one of my dearest friends who was stationed here in Okinawa with me has moved to Israel..Jerusalem, to be precise. She started a blog...they have been there for just a few weeks. It is so interesting to see the sites through her eyes...I know she would love for you to stop by from time to time- visit and enjoy the pics!

Thanks for the advertisement, Heather. The link you added has an extra http://, so it's not going to the blog right now. You might want to fix that. In the mean-time; the proper link is: http://goodnewsfromafarcountry.blogspot.com
Love ya, Heather!

Hello Heather,
My name is Sarah and I have been lurking on your blog for several months(maybe more? ;))! Anyhow, I just had to delurk and let you know what an amazing Chist loving woman that the Lord has shown you to be to me! I can relate to ALL of your heart ache about your fleshly struggles of being a mother and wife. We(you and I) have similiar stories--kind of... I am 33 yrs old and the mother of 3, Alyssa 6 yrs, Jaron 5 yrs and Caleb 6 mos., anyway I homeschool and am a wife to a wonderful Godly man. We used to be in the AirForce and so I have some military understanding as well! I have been meaning to comment to you for a long time because your entries VERY often speak my heart and it is so awesome to hear someone so similiar to myself having the same mountains and trials to endure. The blog entry that touched my heart the most was the one when you talked about music, I could not agree with you more... Jesus has been dealing with me about music for a very long time! And it saddens me that so many christians don't understand the seriousness of what damage music can do to the human spirit. Well, I want you to know that I can see Jesus in you through your blog, His righteousness shines through your entries and you have such a sweet and tender spirit! I will be so glad to get to meet you one day in our new Jerusalem if not on this earth! God bless you and your family.
Sincerely,
Sarah
