The MOVE...

...it's goin'. I will share just a glimpse of the fun we are having. :)

We are in the process of selling our van, and I was on the phone this morning with a prospective buyer, when I heard a knock at the door. "Oh, yeah!.." I remembered, "the movers are coming to take a quick inventory of household goods"! It was NOT a good time-I had a friend due to come in an hour so we could finish making baby shower invitations, Brianna was still in the process of getting dressed for a culture class that she was taking (today was the last day) so I shooed her into her room to finish, Lily was in her swim suit and some dress-up shoes since I told the girls we would go to the pool today...so I shooed her to get some clothes on....I have no idea what Anjolie was doing, and Ayden, well, he stood at the door waiting to see who was knocking. I quickly explained to the inquirer on the phone that I would need to call her back, the crazy moment just seemed like toooo much seeing as how it wasn't even 9am yet. So, I opened the front door to let one of the Japanese movers in and let him stand in the entry-way while I got off the phone. Ayden looked up at the man, who was waiting patiently with his clipboard, squatted down to jump and announced "I POOPED!...I pooped!" with each little hop, in the sweetest little 2 year old voice you ever heard, like it was good news or some new thing...I almost dropped the phone I was so mortified. I didn't even try to apologize, it was just one.of.those.moments I swooped up the stinky little guy-not sure what I said to the caller as I hung up with her, and left the poor Japanese man who was rolling over the english in his mind translating it to Japanese, I'm sure, as I mentally pressed *delete delete* in desperation...the rest is a blur...so yeah, the whole movin' thing...it's goin'

That is too funny!! The Ayden thing.. not your chaotic morning.
I'll keep praying for you, Heather. I know how stressful these times are.

Comfort yourself in the fact that the poor guy isn't someone you'll be running into again once you're gone. Embarrassing situations are MUCH easier to swallow when it's a stranger, yes??

Bless your heart, moving is always so hard, and I can't begin to imagine moving across an ocean! You'll be in my prayers as well, Heather!

Oh, Heather, Heather, that was just so funny and yet so real. I am blessed, thank you!!!

Everytime, I come to your blog and the picture of your children comes up, they just give me such a warm feeling, their smiles and sweet faces.

You will make it, one day you will look back and laugh too. connie from Texas

Aren't boys fun!!
Okay so since I haven't been here in a while, where are you moving too? Leaving Japan, sorry since I know you have already posted that but I am short on time so I can't go back and check out all the posts I missed. :0)

Okay so that's pretty confusing.

Praying anyhow for the move.

What a morning...and how funny, for us anyway! :) Reminds me of a time my brothers and I weren't so welcoming to the carpet delivery man. That's probably a story for another time and another place!

Moving is a pain!!! I know last week I stressed out so much and then I went camping with my mom's church and I got a very different perspective! This is a new start for our family and I should just be excited. For me that was hard to take in. I can't wait for the moving to be done but im so excited to make some fun memories!! I will pray that you have a safe and fun move!!

hee hee. Moving is so much better, after you get there and are semi unpacked. Hang in there. YOU'LL get there. You're just about through the worst of it. I thought I was never going to make it through right about your stage. It all works out eventually. "Lucky"(Divine Providence) you, you have moving guys :) Thats deffinately a plus.
