Busy Bees

She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. Proverbs 31:13
A good friend of ours came over to teach us to crochet some time ago. Brianna, 6, *loves* it. She spent a good bit of time just making long chains, but now she is learning to make the rows of crochet. It is so cute to see her little tongue poke out as she tries to get her hook into the next stitch. :)
Sorry I have not posted in a week! We had a Missions conference last week which kept us very busy on top of homeschool, a Monday night Deacon's meeting for Brian, a Tuesday morning Ladies Visitation, and Tuesday night Faith Bible Institute class...a little typhoon...and another one passed by (Wipha)...so this week I am trying to get back on a normal busy schedule and catch up on laundry :) I will be around to visit! I am very bummed that I missed 2 very important skype phone calls from a Far Away Country...ahem.

Brianna is precious! I think it's wonderful she is learning a hand craft. Enjoy these moments...and the memories you are making. : )

So sweet! I love your little HIT's. :) I'm going to post a picture tomorrow of the crochet project I just finished... I'm on a crochet "kick" myself these days. :)

Sounds like you had a very busy week.

I love a good missions conference. Hope yours was a blessing.

I miss your sweet girls and little man so much!!
I hope things calm down a little for you---I will try to call you again soon. Skype is only charging me 2 cents a minute to call you, so I have a feeling we'll be talking often!

Mrs Mishel :) I am so glad we are learning to crochet..it is *very* addicting. You and Ashleigh so inspired me to teach my girls a handcraft (though I still needed to learn myself)when I would see you at Women's Missionary Fellowship holding hands and working on things for the missionary closet...it just touched my heart. I will never forget that precious mother daughter image of you two. Love you!

Ashleigh, I can't wait to see your finished project!! I just made a baby blanket for Janis R's hope chest :) it was my first crochet project. Janis is such a sweet beautiful young lady...much like I remember you at that age...sweet 16.

Kristi, we had a good mission's Conference...a typhoon put a bit of a damper on things, but other than that it was wonderful. Praying for you girl :)

Pam, *sigh* I know Brianna would love to be sitting along side M. doing little hand-crafts...and I would *love* to learn to quilt. Love and miss you -heather

HEather, It is so good to hear from you. It is so neat to see your girls learning "girly" things. I love the expressions on her face in the pictures.

I know this moment! Dumpling is often busy about crocheting long chains of yellow single-stitch these days...we all have "scarves," and the kitten has a new "collar" and "leash."

These adorable pictures of your daughter make me *long* to see our girls play together. :)
