Hi Heather,
I just happened along your blog from another dear friend's site. I was blessed by reading your recent entries ... although I would have to debate your profile info. ... "married to the World's BEST Marine", I would have to argue that my sweet husband (for the past 20 years as of yesterday) is the BESTEST Marine in the world. (giggle).
I also found the book "Created To Be His Helpmeet" to be life-changing. When I sometimes struggle to be the wife and mother God has created me to be I go back and reread this book and I am convicted but encouraged. How merciful and full of grace our Lord is with us His imperfect children. How blessed I feel knowing He is in control and that He has forgiven my blunders once I have repented.

How exciting for you to be beginning your long career of homeschooling your sweet children. I am in my last year of homeschooling and this June will graduate my youngest child. I miss the precious days of teaching them to read and exploring the world through their little eyes. Ah well, everything in its season. (smile)

Well, nice to meet you through your blog. I will add you to my favorites and check in again. Blessings on your day,
Deborah

Heather, I think you could use a new vaccuum-----one that won't double as a weapon! ;) (Poor Lily)

:)Mrs Sue...yes...PINK-makes ALL the difference :)

Deborah, it's a pleasure to "meet" you! I would love to read about your homeschooling adventure and the wisdom the Lord has given you in the midst of it :) Do you have a blog? Please come back and visit soon!

Pam-I know...poor Lily...for those of you who don't know, she split her head open on the galvanized steel beast that we have now. This pink looks much more child friendly ;)
Melissa---and where is YOUR update? ;)So good to hear from you!
