All dressed up..

...but too "Croupy" to go...to church that is. They woke up "barking" like seals...Anjolie and Lily with a fever :( I made the girls, all three, some skirts for church, even though they are a little on the casual side. My mom got the material for me, and I made Anjolie and Lily a 6 panel skirt. I made Brianna a regular skirt with elastic in the back only. I am so not talented when it comes to sewing things...Oh well. I will just keep practicing...when I get the chance :)

Awesome job on the skirts, Heather!! They are adorable! I'm an AWFUL sewer, or seamstress, or whatever. I have SO MUCH material it isn't even funny. I REALLY need to get to it!! Cute pics for the week, too! Loved it all!!

You did a great job on the skirts, Heather. They look great. Too bad the girls couldn't show off their mommy's workmanship!

Hope they're feeling better soon.

Oh TOO FUNNY, Heather. THAT's why I wasn't posting for that couple of weeks, I was SOOOO sick. Go back and look at my post from Sept 21st, and then Oct 14th. I think they are still on the main page. I'll be posting more soon. I have SO much I want post, but never have the energy!! :) Getting better though. I had wondered why you hadn't said anything. Goofy girl!!

The skirts are adorable...don't knock your sewing ability -- the kids appreciate the flexibility and simplicity more than a lot of zippers, buttons and restrictive do-dads.

Have you tried a cool-mist vaporizor with some tea-tree oil in the water? It works for my croupy-cough kids everytime. (I think it's safe...been doing it for years.)

Good job, Heather! Cute skirts! It's been so long since I did any sewing. Sigh. How you manage all this, I just don't know! :)
